Swim lesson registrations will open for summer 2021 on April 30th.
Due to staff shortages, we are only able to offer lessons at Cottage Grove Middle at this time.

Open Swim and Lap Swims will remain closed until we are able to evaluate pool capacity and Covid restrictions within lessons.

Community Education offers a wide range of aquatic opportunities for community organization and members of all ages, including swimming lessons, water exercise, American Red Cross CPR, AED and First Aid certification courses, Lifeguard and Basic Water Rescue certifications, recreational open swim opportunities, and pool rental.

Open Swim: ISD 833 Community Pool hosts recreational open swim opportunities in which diving boards, swim toys and lap lanes are available for swimmers of all ages. (Currently unavailable)

Parent/Child Swimming Lessons: Parents and children (ages 1-5 years) learn how to swim together through fun activities which will help children feel comfortable in the water and build a foundation of basic aquatic and water safety skills. 

Preschool Swimming Lessons: Children ages 3-5 years of age can enroll in swimming lessons based on their comfort level. 

Youth Swimming Lessons: Classes are available for youth ages 5 to 14 years of age at varying skill levels.

Adult Swimming Lessons: Classes are available for teens and adults who are beginners or who simply wish to improve their strokes.

Water Exercise: Enjoy the cardiovascular, strength-training, and low impact benefits of exercising while in the water. South Washington County Community Education provides a wide variety of aquatic exercise opportunities including; lap swim, deep water walking, shallow water walking, and aqua jogging. Pool Rental: South Washington County Schools' pools are available to rent for parties and special events.
