Early Childhood Screening

2020-21 Early Childhood Screening

The early childhood years from birth to the start of kindergarten are an important time of rapid learning and growth. Screening in early childhood supports children's readiness for kindergarten and promotes health and development. Screening includes large and small motor muscles, thinking, language and communication skills, as well as social and emotional development.  Early Childhood Screening is a state requirement prior to kindergarten entrance in Minnesota Public Schools but is recommended at age 3.  Minnesota Department of Education website.

We will offer in-person screening appointments as well as screen at home options starting August, 2021. To schedule an appointment, please contact our office.
